When dropping off items at one of the containers throughout the Township, we respectfully request following these steps to maximize the impact of your recycling efforts:
- Break down recyclables before putting them in the containers
- Break down all boxes
- Squeeze the air out of plastic jugs and containers to minimize space
- Do not put recyclables on the ground
- If the containers are full, please come back at a later time or the next day
Following these guidelines will maximize space - reducing the number of times the containers will need to be emptied and will ensure your efforts to recycle are not wasted (materials left on the ground are not collected by the trucks and often find their way into the trash).
