Summer is the peak season for one of our nation's deadliest weather phenomena – lightning. But don't be fooled, lightning strikes year round. Lightning kills an average of 58 Americans every year and severely injuries hundreds more, but this does not have to happen.

We offer "CPR For Friends and Family" and "Heartsaver CPR" that covers adult, child and infant CPR in addition to choking and will last 3 to 4 hours. CPR classes are held monthly - for dates and times, click on the link below.
Chief Jim Whitworth has been Chief of the Miami Township Fire and Emergency Medical Service since July 1992. Prior to coming to Miami Township he served ten years with the Blue Ash Fire Department as a Captain. His primary responsibility at Blue Ash was to implement, and then lead the paramedic level emergency medical service.
