The Miami Township Board of Trustees held a Special Meeting on Wednesday, July 15, 1998 at 8:15 PM at the Miami Township Civic Building. Chairperson Edwin H. Humphrey called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was given. Miami Township Clerk, Eric C. Ferry called the roll. Attending were, Edwin H. Humphrey, Joseph W. Uecker and Jean Schmidt.
Miami Township Administrator, David Duckworth reviewed the findings of Service Director, Walter Fischer regarding the bids for the Miami Meadows restroom/concession building project. He recommended the bid be awarded to Whalen Incorporated. Mrs. Schmidt made a motion to award the 1st floor construction project for a restroom/concession building at Miami Meadows Park to Whalen, Incorporated at a bid of $278,633.00 with an option to construct the 2nd floor in 30 days at $62,252.00. Mr. Uecker seconded the motion. Upon roll call, all voted "AYE."
With no other business to come before the Board, Chairperson Humphrey adjourned the meeting at 8:30 PM.
