Miami Township is divided into three police districts, each with
its own COP (Community Oriented Policing ) Officer.

The
District One Team is composed of one Community Police
Officer, four District Officers and one Investigator. The district
has also been assigned additional personnel to reach the mission.
They include one Road Sergeant, one County Drug Task Force Officer,
and two D.A.R.E. Officers. Our job function is to provide general
delivery of efficient and professional police service.
The District Two Team is composed of
four District Officers, an Investigator, and a School Resource
Officer. The District is also assigned additional personnel to reach
the mission. They include a Road Sergeant, a Traffic Safety Unit
member, a Community Police Officer and a K9 Officer. Our job
function is to provide general delivery of efficient and
professional police service.
The District Three Community Policing
Team consists of four District Patrol Officers, an Investigator,
Community Policing Officer, the Live Oaks School Resource Officer,
and two Canine Officers. Our mission is to provide general and
specialized professional police service to our community.
