All About Sports 


July 14 - 18; 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 pm; Paxton Ramsey Park; ages 6 - 11; 
$65 Miami Township Resident; $81 non-resident; 

Campers will participate in a variety of sports including basketball, baseball, soccer, 
volleyball & badminton. One day of the week will be devoted to learning and playing 
each of these sports, and then Friday will be Olympic Day. 
Bring lunch & water everyday.


Basketball Team Camps 


9: 00 a.m. - 11:30 am; $35 Miami Township Resident per session; $44 non-resident session; 

Coaches encourage your players to sign up for this "team" basketball camp. During the off season 
your players can improve on their existing skills and learn new ones. They will have fun while learning 
all aspects of the game. Offensive & defense skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, positions 
are covered. This camp will help your players work together to learn what it means to be a "team". 
Sign Up early because each camp is limited to 10 players. The players need to bring a basketball 
and a water bottle. We are encouraging coaches to let our camp leader, Bruce Brunetti, know the 
needs of your team and he will help to make improvements.

We are excited to offer Laffalot Summer CampsTM  for the third consecutive year. This camp is a 
"Girls Only" camp and introduces a variety of sports, games and activities in a fun packed day. 
The camp is designed to develop teamwork, encourage friendly competition, good sportsmanship, 
and a sense of fair play as well as build whole body coordination. Activities include pillo pollo, 
flag tag, floor hockey, scavenger hunts, volleyball, soccer, dodge ball, crazy ball, kickball, and

Soccer For Beginners

 
June 23 - 27; 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.; Miami Riverview Park; ages 7 - 11; 
$55 Miami Township Resident; $69 non-resident; 

Kelly Spillman wants to introduce your child to the exciting game of soccer. 
Basic skills, fun drills, and team work will be the focus of this fun camp. Children will 
need to bring water, a soccer ball & wear shin guards.




Skyhawks programs are the centerpiece in delivering quality sports programs that not only equip the athlete with physical skills, but also teach life skills through athletics! Skyhawks staff members are experienced in the sport they support and have been trained to share that knowledge with a young audience. Skyhawks level programs teach the fundamentals in an appropriately competitive environment where winning and losing are not everything, but are a simple part of the game on the field and in life.





Skyhawks - Mini-Hawk Basketball 


June 23 - 27; 9:00 a.m. - noon; Paxton Ramsey; ages 4 - 7; 
$100 Miami Township Resident; $125 non-resident; 
Mini-Hawk programs allow young children to explore basketball in a day-program setting. 
There is no pressure -- just lots of fun while these young athletes participate in basketball 
through unique Skyhawks games.


Skyhawks - Beginning Golf 

July 7 - 11 or August 11-15; 9:00 a.m. - noon; Miami Riverview; ages 5 - 9; 
$100 Miami Township Resident; $125 non-resident; 

Skyhawks Golf focuses on building the confidence of young athletes through training in 
proper technique and foundational skills. To assist in this training, Skyhawks has adopted 
the SNAG (Starting New At Golf) technology to its curriculum. SNAG utilizes a set of 
equipment designed for beginning golfers, including oversized plastic club heads and 
"mini-tennis balls" to help build confidence. Holes are constructed with preset tee boxes
or launching pads and are finished off with Velcro targets for greens. Please do not bring 
your own clubs. 



Skyhawks - Flag Football

July 28-August 1; 9 am-noon; ages 5-7; $100 Miami Township Resident; $125 non-resident;

Skyhawks flag football offers a complete package of skills and thrills that teaches every 
young athlete to enjoy this fast-paced game. The program will introduce the core skills of 
passing, catching, and de-flagging or defensive positioning - all presented in a fun and 
invigorating training environment. The players will have a chance to showcase new and refined 
skills on Friday by playing the Skyhawks Bowl. Participants must bring a mouthpiece.

Skyhawks - Beginning Skateboarding 

July 21 - 25; 9:00 a.m. - noon; Miami Meadows Skate Park; ages 6 - 12; 
$100 Miami Township Resident; $125 non-resident 

Basic skateboarding instruction with an emphasis on balance, pushing the board, kick turns, and 
maneuvering. A liability form will need to be signed by the parents before participation. Participants 
should bring appropriate clothing, a snack, enough water to last the entire session, gym shoes, a 
skateboard, a helmet, elbow and knee pads, and sunscreen. 

Skyhawks - T-Ball

August 4 - 8; 9:00 a.m. - noon; Paxton Ramsey; ages 4 - 7;
$100 Miami Township Resident; $125 non-resident 

Skyhawks stays true to the classic with a t-ball program that builds young athletes' skills through 
drills and exercises. Each athlete will learn basic skills in exercises tailored to individuals through tee 
hitting and soft toss. Participants should bring appropriate clothing, a snack, a water bottle, running shoes, a baseball glove, and sunscreen.
