Each year the Service
Department will provide to the residents of Miami Township an opportunity
to dispose of unwanted or damaged household goods, yard waste or live Christmas trees
for recycling.
Trash Days occurs
each Spring and Fall. The Service Department will have several trash dumpsters brought
to
the Civic Center parking lot located at 6101 Meijer Dr. for residents to drop off damaged or
unwanted household goods. This would include furniture, toys, bikes, grills, concrete blocks, building or landscaping lumber, appliances, etc.
Items that are not accepted include yard
clippings, leaves, tires, wet paint, anti-freeze, or any hazardous materials.
We will also offer an on-site paper shredding service. For additional information, please contact the Service

Township residency
Brush Days occurs in the Spring each year in order to allow Township residents to dispose of the tree limbs and branches that accumulate over the fall and winter. Residents can also drop off unwanted firewood. Leaves or grass clippings are not accepted. The drop off location for this service is at Miami Meadows Park, 1546 State Route 131. Take the first right after entering the park.

Christmas Tree Recycling starts on December 26th and ends on
January 31st. The drop-off locations
are at Miami Meadows Park at 1546 State Route 131 and Paxton Ramsey
Park at 6265 Price Rd. Drop-off areas will be clearly marked at the parks.
